Australia 350 for 4 (Marsh 112, Watson 93, White 57) beat India 347 (Tendulkar 175, Raina 59, Watson 3-47, McKay 3-59) by three runs

What a performance from little master. He completed 17,000 runs and socre 175 almost pulling off an amazing victory. At one time, it almost felt that he will cross the 200 runs landmark. But, it was not to happen. Australians remained cool at the crucial point, help on to the catches and inflicted runouts when it mattered. Great game though.

Who says that 50 overs game is at risk. It is only seems to be at risk if the matches and series are not competitive. Look at this series, its also 7 match series like Aus-Eng series. But see the contrast. One brought up the speculations that 50 overs format should be dropped or changed at least, and here is the other series, bringing interest back on.

So it is the need to make the matches competitive rather than make any changes to this format. It is just good as the way it is right now.
